I got this unit with the idea I was going to leave my system stock... I did a lot of research before I brought this. I found out the OEM Ipod unit was so buggy they stopped selling it. For this unit you don't have to make and only play certain playlist like other aftermarket units. I have that one, it works great. It treats you Ipod as a cd changer.
