Default Help Transmission

When i am at a dead stop i have to use all my force just to put it in gear and putting it in reverse is nearly impossible, but once i am get it moving its fine, the shifter slides into all the gears just fine. Does any one know what might be wrong or know of a cheap transmission shop? I am using Honda OEM transmission fluid, just changed it 3k miles ago.

1) dont force it, 2) did you check your clutch fluid level, 3) if you post this in the UTH section you might have more luck with responses =D

ITS NOT YOUR CLUTCH. It is pretty classic for first and reverse to not engage if your clutch fluid level is low. Check that before changing a clutch.

I have a feeling this guy has air in his clutch lines/or a leaking slave cyl or just really low on brake fluid...I had the same problem with my S it wouldn't go to gear due to the clutch pedal being just limp

oo yeah keep pumping the clutch pedal from the floor all the way up until you get some resistance..Then you know your problem is brake fluid.
