Uhh, those are old sellers who have had them up for years. $1700 is a LOT to pay for an incredibly outdated machine.........

For that price, you could have a pretty meaty Dell brand new that'll blow your Satellite out of the water......

If you still were intent on being ripped off, you could go here. Only took me all of 2 seconds to find it.

Sorry to completely shit on you, but I think it's unfair to mislead people like that.

Don't be so hard on the guy maybe he meant to post 700 instead of 1700. It could have been a simple typo.

Please. $700 for this old junk? The thing barely even exists anymore. If you still SO wanted one that bad, AND the guy was selling for $700 (which I highly doubt is his intent), why wouldn't you pay $100 more for a brand new one w/ full warranty?

He's either absolutely clueless about computers (in which case, I apologize for the harshness), or a total lying scammer.

They make NEWER Satellite models with much more impressive specs for as low as $400.

Really, I feel sorry for anybody who even considered buying this at $1700.

Maybe he's trying to appeal to people who pay too much for things?

Yeah, maybe to people who like to pay a $1000 fee to have a laptop personally delivered by a cool S2000 driving hero.....

...... Oh wait, they get to pay for shipping too!!!!

I was responding to "killyougood", who kept refuting my answers.

$400 for a Satellite comes around at least once a month at Best Buy and Circuit City, sometimes Office Depot also. Of course rebates are involved, but it's still a much better deal.

If you don't feel like waiting for a great deal like that to come around, you could always buy THIS, for example.

So you tell me: which would you buy?

If you honestly had no clue, then really I do apologize for my rudeness.

But I think you and I both know that you're trying to milk this thing for everything it's worth (or not worth, for that matter).
