It took some time to understand your short-handed post, but I believe I have a translation:

"Is there proof that the Spearco unit lowers intake air temperature?"

My answer: Undetermined. Unless someone has rigged a precise temperature gauge to the aftercooler unit measuring the exact temperature of air being shot into the engine, I doubt anyone would have an answer. Also, I did not do dyno testing before and after...perhaps your question would be better suited for the Forced Induction Forum.

In theory, the greater surface area of the unit, should translate into greater air-to-water cooling properties. In personal experience, I noticed a slight difference in power due to the Spearco unit, and I believe it is a worthy mod for supercharged S2000's. Plus...it looks damn cool.

I believe the vortech rad is pretty efficient. IMO it is a little more efficient. I have noticed the AC to be cooler to the touch. I believe also that the radiator allows you to run more water in the system.

As far as running more water in the system, the Spearco unit is at least 6x the size of the Vortech unit...and thus it holds around 6x more water (I ran distiled water + Water Wetter). Therefore, more air-to-water exchange = cooler air into the engine. Again, this is a discussion to be had in the Forced Induction Forum...

Bump for an awesome engineered product!!!

Very good price, New there were like $700 +/-

They lower your aftercooler temps for sure, you can feel the difference by touching it. It's pretty drastic.

Also Vortech's new setups come with a aftercooler radiator almost as big as this spearco, so it shows the manufacturer felt it needed more cooling.

I have one, it's worth the money
