FS: nfr for sale/parting out my car
after many days of thinking, weighing things out, consulting with friends and family, i decided this is the best move for me . if anyone is looking to buy my car as is i'll go that route first. if not, my parts are up for sale.
i have a modded one in excellent condition for 19k. my tuner and mechanic can back up my claim.
as for my car:
i have a 02 ap1 new formula red. im in cerritos/long beach area (socal).
it has 82000 miles mostly hwy because i used to commute from cerritos to la for work. oil change using amsoil syn. 10w-30 every 3000 miles religiously. tranny fluid and diff fluid changed out every 10000 using gm syncromesh friction modified for the tranny and le-607 or redline for the diff. i swapped out the plugs to a fresh denso ik22 also. for the list of mods:
exterior:
airwalker lip painted nfr
glossy black powder ap1 rims with brand new toyo t1r (need stock rims with tires +cash)
nrg hood dampers
suspension:
tein ra coilovers ($650+stock suspension)
aggressive street alignment and cornered balanced at westend alignments
drivetrain:
(* will need stock parts in exchange plus cash. my buddy vince has first dibs on these*)
*ACT Clutch
*Toda flywheel
*4.57 final drive
*AP2 transmission with carbon syncros and shorter gearing.
(final drive and ap2 tranny equal 4.77 gearing for the first 4 gears and 5th and 6th gears are longer at 4.3. best combo you get have!)
axial flow short shifter ($150)
omnipower clutch master cylinder
engine:
injen cold air intake (trade for stock air box)
J's race header ($800)
Invidia testpipe (trade for stock cat)
AEM EMS 1012 tuned by Shawn Church ($950 includes tune)
proflow throttle body (stock tb + $100)
nrg voltage stabalizer
jason
check out my dyno graph. proven midrange gain
light blue line: Injen CAI, T1R 70mm with test pipe, VAFC tuned
red line: same mod as light blue line but with J's header installed (vafc not tuned with header)
Blue line: Vafc tuned with J's header, CAI, T1R 70mm exhaust w/testpipe
(so compare the light blue with dark blue. that's about 20lbs tq and 20whp in the midrange!!!)
