Default FS: B&B Catback exhaust

Ok im not going to try to hide anything, heres the deal with this exhaust....... it is modified somewhat! Cant guarantee to fit ap1s!!!! ****Asking $500 obo

I bought it brand new fromB&B Exhaust This system was "made to order" as I was told. When I received it the fitment was horrible. The exhaust didnt fit at all, and one side was hanging lower than the other. After arguing via telephone with the manufacturer I sent it back at my expense to be "fixed". I recieved it for the 2nd time and put it on my car, with the same results.... terrible fitment. one tip was actually two inches out farther than the other. I decided to say to hell with B&B and their shitty craftsmanship and have a local exhaust shop fix the exhaust. they did so and I have had it on my car since then without complaints. (approx. 9,000 miles on it) Has a few scratches from being installed/uninstalled by me without a lift!

Needless to say Im not too impressed as this system wasnt cheap! However I love the tone it gives and I like the way it looks. The modifications to the hangers and the piping were necessary ..... unfortunate though that I had to hack at it to get it to fit.

Sound Clip Of Exhaust

heres a few pics of it that i found when it was installed on my car.

this is where the exhaust connects to the cat... weld can be seen where it was modified.

scratches from multiple installs/uninstalls

mods to the piping.....

hanger cut and re-welded to align tips.....

small scratches on bottom of tips from installs

And one small crack i noticed while cleaning the exhaust. this doesnt effect it at all from what i can see. it can easily be fixed! this is a piece of metal that acts as a brace and connects the piping to the muffler. **the crack is NOT in the piping itself!***

Interesting... I hadn't heard anything but good stuff about B&B until your post.

Most people say good things about their quality, sorry to hear you got shafted, that sucks.

HA! neither had I! My father used to have B&B on his 911 and it fit perfectly.

Im not impressed with the fitment of the system, nor with the customer service. All b&b offered to do was hack at it more at MY expense! F that shit!

its a damn shame because this system looks nice when installed and has a nice unique tone to it. with a testpipe theres nearly no drone at all. it fits fine now.... but thats just stoooopid that i had to cut it to get it to fit right.

someone pick this up! def dont buy new!!!!
