Default FS:2000 Civic EX, excellent cond, salvaged (theft)

1. Yes, this is my first post.
2. No I am not a scam artist. I am an owner, you can see my S2000 in the background of my pics. I promise I'll try to post some more mindless drivel in the other forums when I get a chance.
3. Sorry about the pictures, weather here has not been favorable recently. As you can see the current wax job causes the water to bead up vigourously, demonstrating how well taken care of this car has been.
4. Vin number happily supplied, email me!

I live in San Diego, and I am selling my family's old daily driver. It's a 2000 Civic EX with 107k, 5spd, power everything, si wheels, dark green, basic, reliable, daily driver. Car has been effectively evicted from the garage by my new S2000. Car had a salvaged title when I bought it, theft recovery, not too much damage done. It's not missing anything. From what I can tell, the rear passenger side quarter panel was repaired and the rear re-painted, but they actually did a NICE job of it. No orange peel or faded paint. All of the panels line up perfectly, there is no road noise, or shakey wheels, or any other horror stories you hear about theft recoveries. Furthermore, I had the car aligned at Pacific Honda here in San Diego, and it is well within spec on all four corners (we can throw it up on the rack again if you want to see, because I lost the report!). Other minor damage are the dents on the underside where the thieves left it on blocks. Theyaren't too bad, but I figured I would point them out to those who will nit-pick. I'm a picky person by nature, if this car made funny noises, or the panels did not line up, or there was orange peel on the paint, or an alignment problem I would not have bought it for daily driving. Oil changed as scheduled, no modifications done, bone stock always (wheels excepted of course).

All electronics work, nothing really missing from the car, AC blows cold, NO mechanical problems, no leaks, no check engine lights, no problems with daily driving or otherwise. Interior is in reaonably good shape, forgive the picture, it was raining outside and there was mud on the floor. I promise it looks great when you clean it! Tires are all good except the rear passenger side, which I will replace for you, free of charge. Front wheel well splash guards are missing in the pics because Pacific Honda forgot to put them back on after they aligned the car! They will replace free of charge, and I will arrange it for you or do it myself for you. No one would ever know this car has a salvaged title, unless you told them.

Here are some Blue Book prices that I pulled from KBB.com

Excellent: $7580
Good: $6960
Fair: $6135

Obviously my $4500 asking price is quite reasonable, considering that the car is in better than "good" condition. Great car for a university student, looking for something reliable. I can be reached at 858-952-9175 or via email bored_in_tokyo@hotmail.com. Of course you are always welcomed to view to test drive the vehicle, you can even have it inspected by your mechanic (at your expense)

**** Also willing to do partial trades for some NICE three piece or BBS mesh style rims, preferably 18" and in proper width with decent tires. Other rims that look tasteful on an 03 GP White model will be considered. May also be interested in a stock looking (aftermarket) exhaust. Also interested in a complete super-charger kit. Also PM me if you have a REALLY hot sister you want to set me up with, and I will give you a reasonable discount =)**** Thanks!

I haven't entirely made up my mind, I'm open to suggestions for anything that looks tasteful on a GP white model, but I think I prefer to stick with Silver rims with a lip, unless someone can produce pictures of a white S2000 that looks good with some other color. Trying to avoid gun metal, black, or bronze!

You should disclose:

Timing Belt
Water Pump
Drive belts
CV
Radiator
Thermostat

If any of those has been changed and if you have records for them. At 107K, those are the main issues with the car.
