AEM V2 CAI
AEM V2 Cold Air Intake
Includes...
1. All hardware
2. All hoses
3. Passenger Side Fender Liner, pre-cut with hole saw to accept the Cold Air Intake
4. Brand New Fujita Air Filter
5. Custom Fabricated Water Shield
6. Aluminum Drain Nipple
$100
I know I'm gonna get a bunch of questions as to why I have modified the drain rubber duckbill plug-
Ok so here it goes-
The aem v2 intake is equipped with a drain hole. this hole has a rubber duckbill plug attached to it. The reason the have incorporated this into the pipe is to allow an outlet for water that has collected in the pipe.
What you don't realize is this retarded rubber duckbill drain thing easily pops off and you have a gaping hole sucking in dirt or water from the underside of your vehicle-especially if you lowered.
Therefore I have welded an aluminum nipple to the existing hole and have a rubber plug at the tip. If water ever got into it then all you have to do is pop off the rubber plug and ta-da!
I have also fabricated a water shield. welded the pieces together and sanded the welds down so it looks like a one piece from the outside.
Includes all hardware AND fender liner which is pre cut!
You are getting-
AEM V2 modified CAI, hardware and all necessary hoses
watershield (designed to fit ap2 front bumper, i dunno if it will fit an ap1 front bumper i have never tried)
for $100
The only defect on the pipe is where the ground cable was attached when welding, this is the end that attaches to the filter. Pictured are the scrapes the cable clamp made.
I can help with the install!!!!!!
