Why was I banned from this thread,

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...threadid=117639

I offered an opinion, which was responded by a dry, sarcastic response. I didn't start anything. True, I attacked the thread AFTER his remark, NOT started by me. So tell me why?

You may very well have been mistaken for our "favorite banned board member" yellowpower aka yellowpowr aka bananas2k aka EnigmaticS2K. I honestly couldn't tell you why but that is my best guess.

Banned? You're not banned if you're still able to post...

Did you think you were banned from the post because you were unable to reply to a quote from another member in the thread?
If so, you may have pressed "EDIT" rather than "QUOTE".

this exactly same thing happened to me a couple days ago. I was going to reply to someone's post, but I was shown a page saying I don't have permission to post. I thought I was banned!! Then after a minute, I realized I had pressed the "EDIT" instead of "QUOTE" button. Since you are not allowed to edit a message you didn't post you will be shown that cannot-post-message.

You were not "banned." In fact, no moderator here had anything to do with that thread. The originator (arnelr21) closed it. Once a thread is closed, only a moderator can post or edit.

As Airgate mentioned the thread was closed, so you were not banned. Next time maybe take a deep breath and think it through.
