When someone gets banned, what options do moderators have? Can people be banned from a specific forum as apposed to being banned from S2ki all together

I like what they did with WRS2K when he was roaming around years ago. He was pretty bad back then thus he got banned but was only allowed to post in his Northwestern section and that has worked. But over the years I have noticed the tone of his posts has gotten better.
Vapors2k was also banned for reasons I wont get into. He was banned from the entire site if I recall correctly. Vapors2k and I had our differences back in the day 2001-2002. But then in 2004 when I got to meet him in person he was a totally different person. Very layed back and he knew his sh*t. Very nice guy on top of that and then I thought he should be brought back to S2ki because of what he could give/add to this site. Now I just noticed he is posting again and thats great.
Anyway I am rambling on (like I always do). I think there should be some sort of minor punishment for both parties involved. Thats just me though.

The solution for Vash is to not ask me if something is ok, have me tell him it's not, have him do it anyway, have a moderator remove the offending thread and then have Vash post how the moderator is an f'ing asshole for deleting the topic I told him would be deleted before he posted it.
Make sense?
Contrary to popular belief these problems are often self induced. There are a lot of people who use this resource and we can't have people running around causing chaos. It's not fair to everyone else. Our only option is to remove them. I would prefer that they just respect the rules like everyone else but failing that our options are limited.
