whats wrong with my avatar [FIXED]
Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong with my avatar? I have been having this problem for a while now. I am going into my gallery and clicking the avatar button. And the picture comes out looking compressed??? It's probably something I have done wrong, but I have no idea what it is....thanks.

Sorry, it never made it to the top of my todo list. The problem is the function which scales the photo to the right size doesn't work correctly. A sure-fire fix is to open the image on your PC and scale it to 100 pixels on it's longest side. Upload it the scaled version to your albums and then set that as your avatar. It should see the image doesn't need scaling and use it as-is.

I downloaded the image by right clicking the avatar and then uploaded it to my gallery
It looks fine here (100X75). Your avatar still looks compressed though. I suggest reassigning your avatar using the same image you uploaded and see if that "refreshes" the server.

avatars are cached so even after you change it you'll still see the old one for up to 10 minutes. You can ctrl+click the refresh button of IE to skip the cache and see the new image.

Ok, I fixed the avatar problems.
Images now scale correctly. The new size of the avatar get updated correctly so it doesn't show distorted immediately after changing it. I Upped the size to 150x150 pixels so more complex photos look better.
