What is the difference between "In the penalty box" and "Banned"?

What is the difference between "In the penalty box" and "Banned"?
If there is one?? Cause in hockey if you are in the penalty box you go back in after 2 minutes or something like that. Just wanted to clear it up for myself.

Well, a "penalty box" would be a suspension (when you do something wrong, but not justified by a perminant baning. A Banning is like being ejected from a game and removed by the league. Capish?

I always thought that being put in the site "penalty box" meant there was a possibility of being let out some day depending upon various factors. On the most part, I believe HondaGal starts off with the "penalty box" (leniency). However, as a couple of people discovered, if you are in there and you PM HG to trash talk her, she'll dump yer butt into "ban", OR, if you piss off cthree while in there, the same result can follow.
