Thanks for keeping us inform, really appreciate all of the work your putting into it.

Everything is working well for me, only problem I have is that I am not able to post up status messages for some reason. I was only able to post it the first day and after that it disappeared. Hope that it gets resolved with everything else. Thank you!

Presuming you're using Xeon chips ... the newer 6 core stuff is markedly faster than the earlier quad core processors, am also guessing it will be faster memory in the new server. Having done some work with render farms over the years, I can tell you the performance jump is significant, we were seeing 50% + reduction in rendered frame times when we switched from single quad core to dual six core machines.

Hopefully that will be the speed increase n the background that is needed to bump things back to a reasonable speed which then gives you the legroom to work in the background without affecting how this runs for us.

Appreciate the time taken to list out what's wrong, what's being fixed and the chance to see how you're addressing it - for those of us who work in IT. it makes a lot of sense.

I appreciate the update and am more confident in the future of the new software as a result.

Thanks for taking the time to update us about the state of S2Ki. This should calm the fears that things are stuck in limbo.

I know its rough working on a project like this only to have the haters that know absolutely nothing about what it takes to make something like this work correctly and efficiently come in and bash the heck out of you. I applaud your efforts sir, and the countless hours you have dedicated out of your life to make a place like this for enthusiasts like myself to come and research, talk, and share information. Keep your head up, shoulders back, and eyes on the prize. A few haters don't speak for the rest of us who are fully supporting your endeavor. Best of luck!

A reference page like MyS2k isn't coming back? No point in participating in the forums if you can't keep track of what's happening and who has replied. I've already been replying to threads and then completely forgetting about them, only to find them a few days later having missed the entire convo. Usability is just horrid.

I'm guessing when the gallery issue is sorted - badges will come back.
