Default Slowness after upgrade

Erik,

I noticed that since the upgrade that the complete posting process is extremely slow. If I post and wait, it can take minutes before the system thinks its ready for me to be refreshed with my post showing up.

However, if I hit submit, then cancel the request, the post goes through, it seems like within a few seconds, then I manually refresh and my post is there.

Seems like something after the actual post process that is running is causing some sort of hanging or something.

Ive tried with IE8 and FF, same results.

I've got no such issues from my side. There was only an error after the update when I tried to make my first post, but Erik sorted it out within five minutes. The site runs significant faster now but we shall see how it will perform at peak hours.

Perhaps a local network problem?

From what I'm reading also in the "Do your POST TESTING here" topic, perhaps there is an issue. I'm sure that Erik will work it out and do some fine tuning.

Those were my posts before I posted this thread. I wanted to confirm that I was having the issue for real, in multiple browsers, multiple times, not just a one time occurrence.

Well,

I've posted in Site Info and DelVal and they are slow.
I've posted in Metro NY and the Photog forum and they are fast.

Erik - about as much data as I have for you.
