Actually it's 550 - Internal Server Error which means all the servers crashed which some of you have noticed is happening every few hours.

FYI...I've noticed that many times I try to go to MyS2K page first and get "page not found" or whatever. Sometimes I can get around it by going to the homepage and can then navigate to wherever. Which is what I just did to get here.

It seems to coincide with my hitting submit on a long post/PM.

I wish there was some way for me to help. Good luck with getting it resolved.

Very sorry about that. I can't control exactly when the problems have occurred. The good news is that I think we found the solution to the stability problem and are now fixing it.

I know, I was just teasing a little.

It turns out the the operating system installed on the new servers (Fedora Core 5 Linux) has some serious problems with the hardware and crashes every couple of hours. Last night we installed the previous release (Fedora Core 4) on 2 of the 4 new application servers and those two servers now seem to run very well without problems. We will install FC4 on the other 2 remaining servers tonight and we should be up to full speed then.

The new database server is also running FC5 and also has problems (totally different hardware from the application servers). It doesn't crash as often (1x per day vs. 8x) so it will need to be changed back to FC4 as well but not today.
