Default Signature?

Being technically inept

I have no idea how to get the various pictures avatars etc on the signature .

Is there an FAQ about how to do this?

Sorry if this has been asked a thousand times.

Click on "MyS2K" next to Search on the top S2K International banner and then you should get "MyS2K Menu" on the left.

Locate "Edit Signature" under the "Personal Profile" section and the rest should be self explanatory.

Cheers I can get text in there but it doesn't seem to want to allow me to paste a picture in there - do I just link it via a hyperlink to the picture?

Use the [IMG] tag if you want to link to an image which is hosted in your own webspace or on another site.

So, enter [IMG], add the URL you want and then [/ IMG], but leaving out the space between the / and IMG. Et voila!

Or upload to your gallery first, then use those.

don't use the photo tag, use IMG instead. Photo splits the images on separate lines. Depending on your browser find the actual URL for the image you want and put it in IMG tags and put this tags all on the same line (ie no Enter between them). Right clicking and doing open image in new window will generally show you the URL in the address bar of the new window. It depends a lot on the browser you use on how you do it.

Code:
[IMG][/IMG]
post the complete tags back to back to get pictures to line up in a row if you put a single space between the complete tags, a space will show up in your signature. Additionally if you insert a hard (carriage) return in the code between two complete img tags, you will see that it starts a new line directly underneath the first image See my sig below for gross misuse of badging for example

It may be gross misuse but it's a hell of a lot better than some. You've kept is small enough to ignore if you don't want to read it and it doesn't mess up the site layout.
