Impossible to tell what's been posted when, topics come up regardless of date (and it's impossible to sort by, or even SEE the date in question).. I liked the old search much better. The new search tool is nearly useless.

Yeah, the search has got to be the ONLY bad feature of s2ki.com.

It's really frustrating when you cannot even sort the results by date. It would also be nice to be able to search thru just the subject of threads otherwise there's just too many useless results.

Next time try doing an advanced search and in the "results format" box at the bottom right pick "short". This should only list subjects.

It is still good to see the search by post date - otherwise too many unsorted results are often displayed - and not in priority order of number of words matched. that would be nice too

The search engine is designed to find information relevent to a specific topic. It's not designed to find a specific post or present information posted in chronological order.

It doesn't work so I removed it.

I'm working towards bringing our forums software up to date but with all the custom hacks and mods we've made over the past 2 years it's a delicate and involved process. Once we get that done the link will work.
