Posting problems
We have a few folks over in Vintage wondering about the quirks we are enountering on posting lately. It seems to get "hung up" ending in no posts, or double posts.
This is what I do to get around it most times. Not sure if the info helps.
I post, then open another tab as if I try to click on it (the reply) again, or refresh, it either gets lost or double posts.
By opening another tab, it seems to "finish the post" on it's own. When I view the thread from the new tab, the new post is there.
I get around it due to "tabbed browsing" but just wanted to let you know of the issue.
Thanks!

Thanks, I'm aware of the issue and have seen it. A better workaround is to just refresh the page. The post goes through, I think the problem is with the "thank you" page.

Maybe it's my browser, but if I refresh the page, it seems to get hung up and lost, or double posts.

I've discovered that if I hit the "add reply" button when I finish the post, wait just a few seconds and return to the forum's main page (ie if I'm reading stuff in Mid-A, just go to the Mid-A page), the post is there. If I just sit and wait on the post, I could be waiting until I get the firefox msg that the site has timed out, but if I move on, the post goes through and there's no prob.
Oh, on a good note, btw, pictures are loading in jiffy time!! YAY -- great work.
