I was trying to change something in my profile I noticed that my password was changed from what I set it as. Did the moderators change people's passwords for some reason?

Moderators do not have access to your profile but the administrators. Besides, why would we change your password anyway? How do you know the password was changed? You might see lots of asterisks on the password box which do not equal to the length of your password. That is normal. Your password is encrypted...Hopefully we are on the same page.

The password was definitely changed. I was going to change something on my profile and couldn't get in because it said I was using the wrong password. I had the password emailed to me and it definitely was not the password that I established nor was it one I would be likely to choose.

We are definitely on the same page and I understand that "moderators" wouldn't and shouldn't be changing my password and do not have access to my profile. I also know that passwords are encrypted and I realize what the asteriks mean and that they fill the entire field.

I am not accusing anyone of anything I just was curious as to why or how this could have happened and if it happened to any one else and thought that it should be brought to the administrator and moderartors attention.
