Default I think i usd too much s2ki today?

So today, while at the office I decided to buy a set of rims from rijowsock. I did a lotta searching, a lotta pm'ing back and forth etc... I was on s2ki for the greater part of the day.

Somewhere around 7pm this afternoon I could no longer connect to s2ki. I thought it was a problem with my computer beacuse other computers on my very same network at the office could connect just fine, and i had just installed windows updates.

After trying a whollleee buncha stuff hours of searching fearing that i'd never be able to view s2ki on this notebook again without reformating or doing a factory restore, i gave up with no solution, other than going through a proxy masking service. (my first clue that s2ki or something didn't like my IP)

I get home, connect to my wireless here, and s2ki works-- voila!!!

so the only thing i can figure is that s2ki some how blocked my IP. for over usage?? i dont know...

I just hope I can connect when i get back to the office tomorrow or i'm going to go through s2ki withdrawals!!! (or i'll just use another computer)

anyone know what the hell wasted 3 hours of my time today?

Thanks!

Im on s2ki about 9 hrs a day, 5 days a week. So far no problems for me. Sounds like it might be a computer or network issue. Is it possible that your IT dept noticied you were this site too often and blocked it?

It won't do this!

PM your external IP to me and I can check ban filters, but no reason why it should just happen like that

Work firewall?

There is no such thing on our end. The problem must lay somewhere in between.

how do i go about finding what my external ip is?

I can go to 'whatsmyip.com' and give you that???

we dont have a work firewall, and even if whe did i'm able to acess s2ki.com from all the other comptuers in the office, including my other desktop.

just to reiterate--- i am the network admin, there is no one who would even know how to put a ban on s2ki at my office other than me from our network router/gateway.

Clear your browser cache and see if that helps.
