Well...........technically I probably am!. My membership expired on 22nd April 2005 and site now refers to me as a guest!.

Didn't receive any sort of renewal reminder......thought we always used to get these?. Renewing my S2Ki membership is not really top of my list of things to remember!.

Anyhow.........have gone and submitted payment for another year of gold membership. Noticed I seem to have been given a new ID number. Hope this doesn't mean that I go back to square one in terms of "membership duration"...........I quite enjoyed having four gold stars by my name!!.

Mods.......do you know i) any more about renewal reminders (or lack of) and ii) whether my previous membership will still be "remembered"?. I'll be rather narked if it's not!.

(a) unfortunately, you don't currently get a reminder when membership is about to lapse. A bit short-sighted on cthree's part (IMHO - surely the best way to get people to re-sub is to remind them when it's about to expire..... ) but I can only assume that it's either a ball-ache to implement or it's just lower down his list of priorities than other stuff being worked on.

(b) fear not! Check out your age and your stars and you will see that all is as it should be!

Not short sighted, cthree knows it needs doing and it is on his list. Like you say MT - it is lower down I guess

If people value the membership they will renew soon enough i guess
