No, you are right its a Norton problem, the other site works ok with security on and this site works ok with security off.

Hrmmm, time for a fiddle, wish me luck.

This is a pic of the missing google adds, its the same at the bottom.

Thats exactly what mine looks like and I have the same set up, IE with norton. It started 2 days ago. Obviously those google adds are counting as webpages which is why we have to click back 3 times.

BTW, thats awesome (the pic) , never thought I would see an actual photo of a post I made !

It's definitely Norton causing the problem. I haven't seen anything yet on this but I'm sure there will be holy hell soon from webmasters who depend on affiliate ads to make ends meet. Norton is rewriting the pages as you receive them and is doing a piss-poor job of it. I don't have Norton so I can't offer specifics but you should be able to turn off it's ad blocking on a site by site basis.

I can't control how Norton firewall chooses to mangle our pages so there isn't much I can do from this end. You need to turn off adblocking and cut down on your pr0n intake, at least for s2ki.

TRASH NORTON IT SUX!

Use something else like:

Norton is the biggest bloatware I have ever come accross!

I would have to agree that it's probably due to an automatic update of your Norton firewall software. If you check LiveUpdate you may find an update log but I'm not sure it would provide enough info to be useful.
