can i have an avatar on this site if i don't own a s2k?

Go to your RED Start Button.
Click on Edit Options..
Click on "Change Avatars"
Scroll down and browse for file or enter link to pictures. All pic's must be 100 x 100 pixels.

i went to the avatar part, the problem is i can only choose from the cartoon pics... there's nothing for me to type the url for the photo, or a browse button to getthe pic from my comp...
do i need to be a owner to be a member?
i think i read somewhere once that i needed to type in a s2k vin # or something
