So i have always surfed s2ki on my blackberry and a couple weeks ago it would stop opening topics. I can view the whole site, but when i try to open the actual topic it only loads half the page. I took the phone to verizon and they completley wiped my phone and started it fresh, but i still have the problem. It only happens on s2ki.

Anyone else experience this?

Yes, a fellow member told me that he had this issue on IE. He had to click the edit button to view the posts in plain text. He thought that there was something wrong with his laptop.

 

I'm not sure what the issue is. It works fine for me on all of the supported browser platforms (IE 7+, Chrome 4+ (Win, Mac, Android), Safari 4+ (Mac, iPhone, iPod, iPad), Firefox 3.5+ (Win, Mac, Linux). The pages also run through the XHTML Transitional 1.0 Validator (with some issues but nothing related to this).

I tried to download and setup the BlackBerry simulator from RIM, got a Java rash, and ultimately failed to get it to load any kind of webpage from anywhere. After wasting 2 hours going nowhere I added an option to MyS2K Board Settings to disable social networking features.

If you are having this problem then disable social network features from MyS2K and see how it goes. There are too many browsers, plugins, and configuration settings to account for every possible combination. The markup generated by the site is just barely functional at this point and is being overhauled but until then it's anybody's guess as to what the problem might be. I thought it could have been an HTML tag that wasn't being closed but I can't really tell without spending a lot of time on it which I don't have.

 

It pretty much happended for me when the "Buzz" came..FB worked but I just disabled it and I can view it now on my BB.

Also, the PM "GREEN" pop up box doesn work either but thats no biggie.

Fixed! open your browser, go to settings, down at the bottom change your network from blackberry to windows explorer

 

Damn! I was just gonna call you butters to see if you have any fix, funny bumping into you here. lol!
