I'm trying to figure out how "Badges" work. Think I've finally got it figured out. Sorry for the "test post." The original intent was to ask a question.

I'm glad you asked because I don't understand 'em.

I know that I have two badges that show up as pics. The other two show up as links. So my sig looks similar to wantone's above (not as many of course)

How do they work??

The badge is just a "gif" to a link.

Badges are kind of coded in to the boards, they are separate to your sig, although they appear below it.

Your Hampton Roads "badge" is just a gif to a link, in your signature, the other 2 are proper badges, which have been added (probably at your request) as you belong to those groups on the board - Caolina and Mid-A

OK, I sorta understand Eagle,

Lemme ask this. Is there a way to add the Hampton Roads badge "proper" and have it not be just a link??

We would like to start handing out the HR badges and another badge to be discussed in a separate place (IHW).

If Hampton Bridge has its own Community Forum, yes, but since i dunno what Hamptom Bridge is

Badges are being changed for v4. Wait till V4 is up then we'll know what the score is on badges

April Fool

It is a little behind schedule. But better to be working and late than buggy and on time eh?

OH, you mean this won't be a microsoft product

the typical beta version that is released as full scale commercial version and then they let people pay for it and beta test it for them

hmmmm

what a concept!
