b16a2 stumbling under load during certain circumstances
Looking to get some insight if possible
b16a2
-buddy club spec 3 cams/ blox cam gears
- sk2 im > edelbrock TB > aem cai
- header > hiflow > 2.5"
- sk2 fuel rail, 750 cc deatchworks injectors
-tuned for 91/e85 hondatas300
Been running 91 octane for months now
What it does: stumbling/misfire/losing power? at WOT (straight or during cornering) beyond 5k rpm it's straight up farting and losing power/stumbling. it does continue to climb to 8k but extremely slow and farting/rev needle rumbling/struggling like the motor is about to blow up. Driving like a grandma under 6k or at 1/2 throttle or less seems fine, though I don't tend to shift over 6k unless i'm going spiritedly.
Changed plugs. Didn't seem to solve the issue, though I did notice one of the plug boots does not want to seat all the way down but it is firmly in place and requires as hard a pull to make it pop out like the rest.
I took off the aluminum spark plug cover and now does not do seem to do this going straight. If I corner it will do this.
Is this related to spark, fuel delivery, or something else? wtf.

Hmm I suppose I could, doesn't hurt to give it a tap. I'll try it out when I head to work tomorrow morning and find some corners. Will report back after try to replicate this
