Stripped oil pan drain, following Billman's advice, is this the correct replacement?
Hello All,
I was changing my oil this weekend and when torquing the bolt, I stripped my pan. Yes stupid mistake from a shade tree mechanic.
I would like to follow @Billman250 's advice (link to his advice https://www.s2ki.com/forums/s2000-un.../#post25054165) and replace my plug with an oversized one.
Is this the correct part?
Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the clarification. I found the following piggyback bolt that claims to be oversized as well. Which would you recommend?

I also plan to flush some oil through the engine to flush it out too. The last thing I need is metal shavings getting into the rod bearings or something like that.

After you install the plug, remove it.
Take one quart of cheap oil, or “clean enough” used oil, and get it up to 150 degrees.
Dump it into the oil fill hole. It will come out the drain hole at speed and take any shavings with it.
