The M5 price and weight challenge!
The new M5 is a porky 5200 pounds, and starts at $120k.
So, rather than one overweight pig of a sports sedan, what two cars - new or used - would you get instead for the price and weight limits?

I already have my 2 in my garage well below that mark, Alfa Romeo Guilia Quadrifoglio and my Turbo S2000 which cost way below that M5. Honestly the next car I really want is a GT3 but its way over my budget at the moment.

I could seriously purchase three vehicles for the same price.
Yeah yeah before the Slowtegs of the world say something to the effect of "it wasn't priced with you poors in mind" let me just say expensive is fine when the item warrants the cost, even on the extreme end of the diminishing returns curve, but this M5, like many other things people are critical of, is not on the diminishing returns curve. Rather, this is BMW getting away for overcharging for something desirable, a trait that was earned when they used to make a remarkable M5. Because I'd absolutely would buy a T50, a McClaren F1 even with the investment aspect removed, because they're truly great cars.
Anyway, to answer the question, I dunno... Supra 6MT, GRC, used Taco crew cab or 4 runner. So many options. Cayman GTS and GRC. C7 and IS500. I could go on and on.
