Default suzuka blue

OK OK, i know this is completely subjective BUT i just want to get some thoughts on suzuka blue.
i know that they are beautiful yet under rated as far as likability. do we think in the next few years these come into they're own? They are pretty uncommon as out of all the cars only about 11% were blue. i know nothing will ever pass the popularity of old yeller ( only 10% of s2K were yellow) blah, blah, blah. i guess i just wanted some opinions and thoughts.
thanks

I think maybe I could deal with one if it had a black interior.

But...why does anyone's opinion really matter?

You either like it or you don't. The blue/blue is a polarizing combination. If you're asking from a collectability / market value perspective, that's a gamble that no one has a real answer for. For now, white commands the highest value.

The color has always had this 80's 911 vibe to it, imo.

I've always thought this would eventually become the sought after collectable color. Especially with the smurf interior.

I didn't buy mine to be collectible

Nothing personal Suzuka Blue owners but that color hurts my eyes especially the cars with the monolithic blue interior. But Honda sold a bunch of them -- almost 10% of North American sales were this color so the importers/dealers must have liked the color.

I made a priority list when I was shopping for my S2000 in 2014 and color wasn't even on the list which was headed by 2006 or later (DBW) so it's possible I could have ended up with a 2006 Suzuka Blue with the blue/black interior and I'd be here today writing about how much I love this color.

Maybe it IS personal...

I like the exterior color, but my wife pokes fun at me for it and calls it perriwinkle and says it's a super girly color. I ended up with black. I think the blue interior would be harder to live with for me.

I have a '06 Suzuka. I love the color. I didn't care for the previous year's all blue interior. Starting in '06, the interior went to a blue/black combo. Only the carpet & seats are blue..

I think suzuka looks much better in AP2 trim and also prefer black interior. That said the all blue inside and out looks quirky and can be cool if that's what you're going for.

Couldn't agree more. Doesn't mean I don't like it, or wouldn't buy one, but...........

If I ever repaint my S2000, it will be Laguna Blue Pearl
