On the way to the weekend, meeting a friend downtown tomorrow to see some exhibits at a couple of museums and have lunch at Jaleo, one of my fave restaurants. They are extending Restaurant Week there, so get the three-course meal for $22. Yum.

From Excelsior Springs, Missouri. We are about 10 minutes away from the start of 2 1/2 minutes of totality. The clouds are coming and going but we've seen it well.
