as you've given her the car, maybe you also could get them a gift certificate for an SCDA car control clinic. The next one is on October 28th. But then you'd also have to lend Dr. & Mr. Bradford your S2000, and following the event, they might just be tempted to keep the car
or maybe you could talk them into purchasing George's S2000.

You should be in charge of getting her to the car control clinic.
I'm just an old guy depending on you young whippersnappers to keep working two jobs so that my Social Security remains funded. Hell, now my main car is the '55 Volvo School Bus.
After all, she owns a new VW GTI.
Speaking of the School Bus, I attempted to do a partial tune last night. Got stymied, early on, but did do a half assed adjustment of the valve lash, and adjusted the carbs. The spark plugs looked very sooty, and internally, the carburetor pistons were covered in carbon soot, evidencing that there had been backfires into the carbs as I had suspected.
Drove the car to work this morning, only to find that I've moved the backfire from the carbs to the exhaust. I'll have another go at it someday soon.
Cranking the car also very week. I'll need to check the grounds - although with a 6 volt system, maybe that is all I can expect. Not awe inspiring though.

Thats a great picture of the bus. I hope it is ready in time for the parade.
wow! Dr. B purchased a VW GTI? They both definitely have the need for speed. You just need to introduce them to it.

While waiting for my Takata airbag recall at Lia in Brewster I got to admire this Type R. While I'm normally not a fan of 4 doors it was quite sharp. The black seemed to hide the "venting" and along with the red accents it didn't seem so over the top. $34,990.
