Modern bikes are just better, but in a way that new cars aren't better. More reliable, better handling and still relatively cheap for something bonkers fun / quick.

Suppose I should dig my bike out of the garage and give it a run ....

Now that I am (occasionally) working in Docklands it is impractical to use it for commuting.

isnt the etiquette to put it in gear and roll it along to oil things up first?

been watching the motorcycle show on netfux and whilst Coleis pretty charmless it makes an interesting watch sometimes

August 1st the low ride height is due out Same spec as the 765 R. I looked at the RS but it's just a bit too much money and comes with too much stuff i don't need and would never use. Tick tock!

i pondered the contemporary (MT07) and the retro (XSR) and went...

retro..

and i like it.

Totally different to the CRF i've been tooling about on for a year. I did just over 2k miles on that mostly through the summer (such as it is) and it was a great little bike but it was really a one trick pony, great around town and breathless on any bit of open road. The XSR is lovely. Nice torquey motor, you can go everywhere in 5th if you wish and very smooth. Bit heavier than the CRF but hey ho.. It sounds shit stock so that might have to change

Had a look at one a few weeks ago but I think it will be too high for my wife. We'll see when I'm back in France. Right now I'm in the Sierra Nevada. Great bike region !
