Nalgas De Fierro NFR AP2 Build Thread
I'd like to re-introduce myself after about a year of my second AP2 ownership. I recently realized I've been putting off my build thread and it's time to share with all of you. My plan with this build is to build what I and a few friends have called "OEM Plus". I've been blessed this time around and can finally build my dream S2000. I hope you enjoy all the pictures and the journey so far.

First picture after picking her up from the second owner in American Fork, Utah. It was bone stock with only 16k miles.
I drove it home LA. It was about a 1000 mile road trip in the middle of the hot summer. Everything worked flawless and was completely in love with the car after being S2000 less for about 5 years. Made a pit stop in Zion National Park.
First things first was getting the paint dialed in. Seems like the previous owners weren't too careful in that department.
I tried many combinations starting with the least aggressive combo first. Ended up doing a 2-stage polish because the swirls and slight oxidation were pretty bad. Below are the final stages of the paint correction process. Corrected about 99% of the paint. I always get compliments and get asked if it's been repainted. With a big smile I say "nope, original paint"
After getting the paint all dialed in, I moved on to purchasing OEM side strakes. Luckily there were still some available new, so I immediately placed the order from Majestic Honda.

Looking good! I've seen you pics on IG. I'd say this thing is going past OEM plus at this point. Looking forward to seeing the finished product.
Maybe one day I'll finish my own car

I've actually had them installed for about a year now but haven't updated this thread. I'll spend more time looking for pictures so I can have everything documented in chronological order
