posted a WTB:ZTEC SINGLE CAP in the forum. SC_Highlander pm'ed and told me he had a bnib one at a very good price. i jumped on it and sent a payment, he shipped it out super fast. somewhere along the lines of it being shipped by ups, it got damaged. i pm'ed him back with this message:
so i got the cap today. so excited as i pull in the driveway and see a giant box on my front porch. get up to it, the box is kinda wrinkled, i say no biggie, get inside and get it opened, UPS put a crease mark in the plastic smack dab in the middle of the thing. if you could reference me a number to call and complain and/or possibly file a claim that would be great. also if you have any suggestions i am all ears right now. i did take pictures on my pda.
he answered back with this:
Crappy. I'm on the phone with UPS opening a claim. They will need you to call in and give them some information and setup a time to come inspect the packaging item. You will need to call 1-800-pick-ups and say 'agent' at the voice prompts. Ask to provide information on the claim for package: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. They need your phone number and time to come pickup the package for inspection. I'll refund the paypal payment once UPS has picked up the package. I wouldn't mind getting a look at those pics when you get a chance. Thanks, and sorry for the mishap. Bryan
