As someone who has sold MANY items online over the last 10 years I would have to side with Suzuka on this one.

Whenever I have had problems with damaged items arriving to customers it has always been my responsibility to file a claim and follow through with the process to recieve my refund. I have never once recieved a refund from a shipping company as 99% of the time, they blaim the damage on your packaging.

Paying someone else to package your part is an act of good faith on your behalf that they will package your part correctly, but ultimately you are still responsible as the transaction was between you and the buyer. You cannot pass the buck to some someone else, it is still your responsibility to ensure who ever you hire to pack your parts is competent.

Take this as a $100 lesson in how to sell online, refund the guy his money and pursue your insurance claim, you might still get that $100.

Sidenote:

I've never heard of packages falling 50' during shipment, but take a look at this! (I think of this video EVERYTIME I package something)

Your all full of it and are just talking crap for something I didn't do.
There is no proof who did this and that's why I don't give him his money because I know it wasn't me for a fact.
He obviously opened it how do I know he didn't crack it because he didn't like the finish?
I wont get banned cause im not going the wrong thing here... if this guys would have came up to me the right way I would have some the right thing. But threats don't always work...
Go throw it all over google cry baby I don't care.
How old are you, man? Like 19-20 at the most? If you're any older, that's sad. It's pretty obvious what you did wrong and that you done goofed, so just refund the guy his money and go on with your life.

Would someone permanently ban this guy already? Never in 6yrs I've been a member here, have I seen anyone be such a degenerate member such as this guy, and thats quite the accomplishment being a 125,000 member strong forum. Back in the day, this bloke would of been banned months ago. Why is he still allowed to post here? Its a joke.

Free bump for Suzuka and any potential S2Ki buyers.

Every time I ship with FedEx the cashier always asks me if I need more than $100 insurance. Same with UPS, standard insurance is up to $100.

And why would he crack the valve cover if he didn't like finish? That is just a lame excuse.
