Default who runs track days?

Hey guys im planning on making my maiden track voyage in the S. Ive run buttonwillow twice in my GTI but its been awhile. Once on CW13 and CCW without the knink in the straight. What organization do you guys prefer to run with? I see alot about speed ventures but has anyone had any experience with other groups?

Im thinking of running with Speed Trial USA on willow springs big course on Aug 8-9. Let me know if anyone is going to any upcoming events or has any input on what organizations are better than others. Thanks

Well I don't know if this really helps answer your question or not, but... I went to a Speed Ventures event at Streets of Willow last month. It was my first ever track day, and it was a great experience. They seem really well organized.

Im gald to hear you were happy with speed ventures. Im really weary about their organization after watching the latest crash with the s2ks. I just cant believe there was no corner worker throughing a flag to warn incoming drivers of oil/wrecked cars.

Can't blame you for that sentiment. From what I heard, it does sorta sound like the corner worker screwed up - but also that it was a completely freak once-in-a-lifetime accident, that was surely a result of multiple factors. So I dunno.

Anyhow, I'd be interested in what people have to say about other groups, and how they compare.
