Depending on when you get in, there's also some prime spots above the convention center parking at the Marina. Usually some good corner spots too. In addition, you're mixed in with the boat owners who usually have pretty high end cars too . Otherwise, parking off-site and taking the Trolly in is also a good idea. Fashion Valley is tempting, but my p/u and RSX were broken into there. The S has been safe thus far...

It was Mission Valley mall where my civic Si was stolen.
