hey i'll be visiting san diego from a friday to a sunday, i kno very short time. I was wondering if you guys could give me a few tips on where my girlfriend and i could check out.

ok what area should i book the hotel for, cause there are so many and they all over the place.

Downtown or Misson Valley. Both are good central location. Go to 7-11 or AM-PM and pick up a Reader newpaper, they have great local deals on food and entertainment. They come out on Thursdays.

also some popular spots to check out while here are Balboa Park/SD Zoo, Seaport Village and the Gaslamp/Downtown. Then there are all the beaches we have

Really depends on what you plan on doing here for the weekend. Your posts have been too generic, there are thousands of places to stay and thousands of things to do in San Diego
