Wow, thanks for taking the time to write that up!
So, obviously, I won't have my s2000 - can I roll up in my PT Cruiser rental?

Rei de Gado is an unbelievable steakhouse. Vincenzo's in Little Italy has fantastic Italian food.
For Seaport Village on the water just south of down town, go to The Harbor House for seafood or steak - 831 W Harbor Dr, San Diego, CA 92101. I used to work there, they have amazing food, best in the area.
Otherwise downtown San Diego has 100+ spots including Ruth's Chris, Flemings, Croce's, Blue Point Coastal Cuisine, Greystone Steakhouse, Aubergine, all are 4-5 star spots.
Go to Fashion Valley mall, that is all you need.
Hot girls are in the clubs downtown, or the bars in Pacific Beach. But they don't come to you in this town, you have to talk to them. Good luck.

Wow, thanks for all the info - this thread has been very informative.
So I've been down in here since Sun night and unfortunately, been too busy to get anything I wanted done. Staying at the Marriott next to the convention center which is pretty nice with their pool area/marina. Ate at Max New York on 5th street for a pretty good NY steak. Our organization rented out the terrace patio at Petco last night for the game which pretty much sucked until the 7th inning - but the terrace was great! Free food and booze! Saw Chris Young warm up in the bullpen before the game which was cool. Haven't had a chance to hit up the night scene cause i've caught a pretty bad cold on the flight over
I'm gonna try to hit some of these places today and tomorrow before I leave on Fri. Maybe Fashion Valley mall tonight.
So when/where does the s2k crowd meet?
thanks again
