Just as the tittle stated. I'll be heading to San Diego from OC this 7/4. Can anyone point me to a place for a nice 7/4 firework, and a restaurant around that area would be nice too?
thanks folks,

Would love to help but the only places I seen Fireworks is in Oceanside and also Camp Pendleton.
I know Seaworld has fire works as well.
My suggestion is some place by the beach and also see what google has to offer.

I went to this a couple years in a row:

Very fun. Will be doing something closer to home this year though as I live in South Bay.

The fireworks show at mira mesa highschool is always good. I don't remember if it starts at 8 or 9. You can pretty much wherever u want and still be able to see it within a few city blocks.

There is a big display slated for the main bay. Last year it went off all at once because something screwed up. It was spectacular though short lived. The company that puts on the show has promised to do it right this year! There are a lot of places to see the fireworks from. Anywhere on Harbor Island or Shelter Island is great but you need to get there early to find space. Some people park on the streets on the hills overlooking the Bay and Airport, like Columbia St, etc. which offer great views! Usually you can see the fireworks from Coronado and two locations on the center Bay from any of these locations.
