I spotted this accident.

But umm i'm sure you can claim those, they are your belongings (I took out a lot when I crashed my is300). You are suppose to take out whatever belongs to you.

Good thing you are safe though, doubt it's totaled though.

most insurance will automatically cover something that REPLACES a stock part (like radio, radiator, wheels) for the market value... or atleast pay for the stock replacement cost. Anything that is an addition to the car (like speaker box, turbocharger, body kits) will not be covered unless you have a specific endorsement... This all depends on your policy, of course.

HOWEVER!!! you are the CLAIMANT in this case... you should be going thru the insurance of the at-fault party, and they owe you for EVERYTHING!!!!

its good to be the claimant... its bad to be the insured. I say this because you have a contract (policy) with your own ins. company as the insured, but the as a claimant, filing thru some other insurance company, you have no contract.

PS. I do not think the car is totaled, but then again, I wouldn't want to drive a car thats been hit like that even after a repair

if an estimate is over 75% of the cars value, will they just consider it total?

there is no black and white rule on totalling a car. To the insurance company... it's whatever's cheaper. Generally, they go to 80%, leaving out the 20% in case of supplemental damage (like they find frame damage AFTER their inital estimate). Totally up the the adjuster in most cases.
