Yo! What's up San Diego!

My better half wants me to take her SD for the weekend. I got a room booked at a hotel in the Gaslamp District. What are some chill places I should take her for food, sights, or just to hang out. I'm not really familiar with the San Diego night scene since I don't visit a lot. I'm thinking Sea World, SD Zoo or animal park. If you have any suggestions or info please chime in! TIA

If you are in downtown already. It will be poppin. walk around and feel the enviroment. You can see what is actually populated from the outside

I am sure some people will give you feedback.
