It can be pricy. I seen it go for around 500 and one place was charging close to 1K.

I did it with my dad, there are writeups on the forum for it, it took us all day, I think about 5-6 hours of total work time plus breaks and some assembly.

Make sure if you attempt to do it yourself and not pay a shop, have a friend or two available, it's not a solo job by any means.

They done it before but it was the top with motors, that is easier than just replacing the top.

Even though they've done it...I don't think they wanna do it again. Real pain in the ass(I was there too). That's why some places charge an arm and a leg to put it in. It really is a pain. (It seems) like you have to disassemble practically half the car and then reassemble it.

if your jusr replacing the rag part of the top and not the whole frame theres a place in clairemont that does it for $300 i just got mine done in january its the same place that Pacific honda in clairemont uses for their warranty jobs .........when you replace the rag part you have to keep the frame on the car you cant take it off

when i spoke with the dealer they said its a lot better for the frame to stay on the car so it can stretch the rag and when i went over to the shop they stated the samething
