USMC reserves doesn't allow you to be an officer unless if:

1) you're prior active and have served 4 years, or if you're willing to go active duty for 4 years

2) prior enlisted or enlisted reserves.

Basically.. I have to go enlisted reserves for 3 years before I qualify to go to OCS.

anyway.. about the car.. enough interest on S2ki for an NFR?
Sounds like a good plan. Now that I have your last name I will make a note to let my drill instructor buddy know you are coming.

mcrd san diego bootcamp starting November, hopefully.
Best wishes in that. My son hasn't regretted his decision yet (except for the first week or so ), despite now being in preparation for a second tour in Iraq.

ummm, about the aim and drop, drop for sure/aim not so much...*G*

on the USMC stuff, having been a career planner in the navy for a couple of minutes, you may want to recheck requirements for programs... recruiters fill spots or whatever's easiest for them to move the body for the number, then the career planner (who should be working with your goals) will work the damage control, if you know what I mean...

it's not that I don't believe everything I hear but it's the things people will say that makes me wonder...

Ya, I'm definitely going to sell it. I'll put it up for sale with the intention to sell it in October.
