What's up everyone.

I'll be going to SD and would like to know where is a good area for my girl and I to stay? I don't need a specific hotel, just general areas. Anything from oceanside to the SD zoo would be fine.

Also, what would you guys recommend for us to do. We are not looking for clubs or bars, just casual relaxing placing. Maybe the Zoo or something.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Balboa park FTW!!!!! It's a pretty nice place to walk around if you're just visiting SD. They have a variety of museums and places to walk around and enjoy the company you're with.

If you come to SD and you havent been to the zoo before you have to go, along with what danny said go to balboa park, its next door to the zoo. As far as hotels are concerned Downtown is the place to be. Since you arent looking for bars or clubs though i would recommend la jolla as it is pretty central to north and south county san diego

Is balboa park an all day thing or is it pretty small?

Balboa park combined with the zoo is atleast a 2 day thing if you want to see everything. the zoo is massive and balboa park has so many museums, art, and events. But you can do it all in one day if your pick and choose what your most interested in.

As far as just wanting to relax choose a hotel by the beach and your set to go, again la jolla is a good suggestion
