Default Repair

Last night while driving home from Marina del Rey I had the misfortune of hitting a big chunk of tire on the freeway. The front took a good hit knocking out the grille and badly damaging the lower lip. The car seems to run fine and alignment does not seem affected. I want to have the undercarriage checked out as the tire banged pretty hard as it went under the car.

Any words of wisdom or suggestions would be appreciated. Also, any advice on where to get the car repaired. It only has 7400 miles on it (2008) and precious to this was flawless. I want it returned to as near as new as possible.

if you didn't run it over with a tire and slam at all i can almost guarantee you undercarriage and alignment are perfectly fine. Unfortunately that front bumper will be a few hundred to repair and repaint. I'm not sure how much body shops are around where you live, but if they repair just the bottom part there and etch in the paint to match, it could be $150-200. It really all depends on who it is and how they want to do it. Good luck with everything.
