Anyone know of a place to stay in San Diego. I used to live in Downtown SD, but gave up the place last year, after I moved to Santa Monica.

However, we have some new projects and I am looking to move down there again.

Needs to be commuteable to old town (whether by car or by train). Car commute no more than 15 miles each way. THe less the better.

Need 1 room. Shared bathroom is ok. Heck just need a place to sleep.

Appreciate if any locals can help me out. Project will be about 8-10 months long.

 

for a temporary stay like that, i'd recommend room share. there's LOTS of room shares for cheap in La Jolla cuz of all the students that live around there.

 

how much do you want to spend? I have a two bedroom condo with attached 2 car garage.that I might be renting out. Otay Ranch area...

Expresso-what are you looking for? You can PM me. No furniture nothing. I have no idea where otay ranch is. How far of a commute from Old Town off the I-5?

 

just google mapped it..18.1 miles..sorry I didnt think it was that far.

just go to the rooms/shares category and type in La Jolla...u can get stuff from liek $350-700 a month depending on how many ppl are in the house and the amenities.

But Xpresso2am's pad is pretty cool...nice area too

Really appreciate the help guys. Espressos pad, distance wise wouldnt be bad, since I have a couple of bikes that I can ride. I will await his rental $ for a fellow S2000 owner via PM prior to seeing where to rent.

 

search craigslist bro, your best bet.
clairemont, UTC, la jolla, point loma, mission or fashion valley are all <15 miles to old town.
