Good times! Thanks to everyone for coming out and making it such a great run!

This is my last picture of Saleen alive. And check out Eddie making emergency mods to his Celica.

Rolled pickup on fire just before Harrah's Rincon.

Palomar did in the Saleen. Didn't look too serious at first, a little overheating and coolant leakage.

Lake Henshaw, scenic as always, before the park ranger chased us away.

Julian pie. Yummm. BTW, nice caboose, Nick.

Stay tuned. Next run is Saturday, June 24.

and thanks to Ron for the ride .
What I want to know is why my passengers always look for another ride the very first time we stop?

It's because you weren't "pushing it" hard enough!

when things like that happen it gives you chance to build better than before... like the car forced you to upgrade.
Well that will be the plan biger and bader next time. But it came at a some what good time. I'll be out for 6 months after I get my hips done. So I have lots of time to plan for the next mod's. I'm going to shoot for over 500hp to the grownd and a 6 speed. and more Suspension I think that Palomar owe's me and the Saleen a rematch

Great run... though we went 40mph the ENTIRE time on 79... damned Hybrid cars!

Thanks for a great run, Ron...
Ron, that was an awesome run today! Thanks man, I will definetly keep an eye out for the next one. I think I'll get some pads for my BBK for that one. On the high speed sections the pedal started to go a tiny bit soft so I started to brake a little early to battle it out... no biggie.

Sorry to hear about the Mustang man, however, like everyone says.. what a great opportunity to upgrade.

Arnee, you sure it was 40 ALL THE WAY?! I distinctly remember all three of us smoking by a Prius at 100+

ok, well....... maybe not ALL the way.

But that prius and the other cars behind it did hurt our time.
