Who are you??????
I've been pretty busy with the business and am acquiring another house as we speak... lack of time is my enemy! Finally, though, summer is here and nice canyon runs are at hand.

X12 is right. For the most part we look for routes that have lots of twisty parts rather than long, fast straightaways. If you haven't been into the mountains out east, you don't know what you're missing. Palomar is the king of switchbacks, but Hwy 78 down Banner Grade, and Montezuma Valley Road coming out of Borrego Springs are just as fun. We won't be taking those on Sunday, but we will do Wynola Road, Old Julian Highway, and Highland Valley, which are shorter but just as technical in parts.
I expect we will reach Julian by 9 or 9:30, and be back to Escondido by 11. Certainly before noon, depending on how long we take for breakfast.

I'm still a "maybe" Ron... Any idea how long this run will take?
Let me see... 12 sign-ups so far so... looking at maybe 5 or 6 cars again?
