Never heard in person, but heard on YouTube and read reviews. Seems 38mm is best choice if your shop can work with the pipe. I've gotten $90-$130 quote for the job with 44mm pipe as the shop didn't have equipment to deal with smaller sized diameters.

I heard Ed Hansen is incredible welding shop

 

I actually called Ed today and he gave me a number to a guy near his shop yo go ask I'm going there after work to show him a pic of what I want. Ed told me that he didn't want to take the job since it involved tig welding and he was sure the job wouldn't meet his satisfaction so he said he couldn't.

 

Here at ed's shop they understand now what I eas trying to do and talked me into 44mm so getting it now for $100
